Overdorff Designs
Sea Island denim uses cotton grown on the Sea Islands of South Carolina and Georgia to create high end apparel. This luxurious brand needed to be thought through meticulously down to every button and thread. The logo, a high contrast sans serif, is paired with various graphic elements including an Indigo Bunting bird. Much like the sailors who found the islands using the stars to navigate, these bird migrate by night using the stars. The imagery lends a story to the brand as native and authentic to the region as the cotton in their denim.
